MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN DRIBBLING BOLA BASKET MELALUI METODE BERMAIN

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui bisa atau tidaknya meningkatkan keterampilan dribbling bola basket melalui metode bermain. Karena siswa mendapatkan kekalahan pada saat pertandingan di Kabupaten Garut dan disebabkan oleh kurangnya keterampilan dribbling, dilihat dari siswa saat menggiring bola sering dicuri oleh lawannya pada saat pengamatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan dengan desain Kemmisd dan Mc. Taggart meliputi empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Yang terdiri dari beberapa siklus dengan prosedur ini jika siklus kesatu tidak mencapai target sebesar 80%, maka dilakukan siklus kedua dan seterusnya hingga tercapai 80%. Hasil yang diperoleh dari data awal siswa yang lulus sebanyak 6 orang (30% dari keseluruhan siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler) dengan nilai terendah 43.8 dan nilai tertinggi 81.3. setelah diberi tindakan pada siklus I maka terdapat peningkatan sebanyak 10 orang (50%) dengan nilai terendah 54.2 dan nilai tertinggi 82.3. dikarenakan belum memenuhi standar yang diinginkan peneliti maka dilanjutkan dengan siklus II. Hasil tes keterampilan dribbling bola basket pada siklus II sebanyak 17 orang (85%) yang lulus dengan nilai terendah 72.9 dan nilai tertinggi 86.5. maka terdapat peningkatan pada setiap siklus dengan latihan melalui metode bermain. Karena pada siklus II target keberhasilan telah tercapai maka peneliti tidak melanjutkan penelitian pada siklus berikutnya. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa layihan dengan metode bermain dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dribbling bola basket di ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMP Negeri 1 Kadungora.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was carried out to find out whether exercise can be used or cannot be used through basketball dribbling skills play improvement method. Students were defeated at the match in Garut and it was caused by a lack of dribbling skills. It can be seen from the students when their dribbling was often stolen by their opponent.  The Kemmis and Mc. Taggart design are used as a method of this research. Taggart includes four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. It consists of several cycles. By this procedure, if one cycle does not reach the target of 80%, then do the second and so on until the cycle has been reached 80%. The results obtained from the data beginning from students who graduated. They are 6 people (30% of all students who follow the extracurricular activities) with the lowest value is 43.8 and the highest value is 81.3. After giving an action on cycle I, then there is an increasement as much as 10 people (50%) with the lowest value is 54.2 and the highest value is 82.3. It meets the standards desired researchers. It continued with a cycle II. The results of the skills tests of dribbling a basketball on cycle II as many as 17 people (85%) who graduated with the lowest value of 72.9 and the highest value of 86.5. Thus, there is an increasement in the exercise with each cycle through the playing method. Because of the cycle II is sued, the target has been reached. Then, the researchers do not continue to research on the next cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that exercise with the playing method can improve the skills of a basketball dribbling at a Junior High  School basketball-playing Country 1 Kadungora.
